E-MAP

Öppet landskap med odlingsfält och vindkraftverk

E-MAP is the Department of natural resources' series of projects that is part of the Erasmus+ Accreditation Program 2023–2027. All units of the Department of natural resources are members of this accredited consortium.

About the project

With E-MAP, Axevalla Hästcentrum, the natural resource management schools Sötåsen, Svenljunga and Uddetorp, as well as Biologiska Yrkeshögskolan and Yrkesvux will systematically carry out international activities in several countries within the EU, as well as a smaller part outside the EU. Staff will have the opportunity to job shadow at schools and companies abroad with the aim of strengthening skills in the Swedish green industry. They will look at innovative solutions, new working and teaching methods, and create a wider network of international partners to deliver world-class teaching and development in their own units.

Students will be able to apply to do part of their workplace learning abroad in partner schools and suitable businesses. The aim of going abroad is to give all students the opportunity to improve their ability to adapt to a changing professional life, as well as to broaden their knowledge of other (work) cultures.

So far, the consortium has established partnerships in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Iceland, Scotland, Slovenia and Slovakia. The consortium aims to create even more partnerships between 2023 and 2027.
