Maria Richardsson, uppväxt och boende i Skövde, är författare och skrivarcoach.
Hennes två första böcker är relationsromaner för unga vuxna. Den blomstertid nu kommer är en skildring av fyra tonårstjejers försök att hitta sig själva i en värld där vuxna lyser med sin frånvaro. I Och allt blir återfött har tjejerna blivit unga kvinnor som tagit olika vägar för att försöka lappa ihop sina liv.
De tre följande böckerna ingår i serien om Lena Borell, kriminalinspektör på grova brott i Skövde. Det är deckare som egentligen är lika mycket relationsromaner. Den första boken heter Våroffer, den andra Gryningsdåd och den tredje Fallet Nathalie. Den fjärde boken i serien Skärsår utkommer hösten 2023.
För tillfället skriver Maria på den första boken i en helt ny deckarserie som utspelar sig i Göteborg och som kommer ut under första kvartalet 2024. Under sin residensvistelse kommer hon framförallt att jobba med redigeringen av den boken.

Maria Richardsson, raised and living in Skövde, is a writer and a writing coach. Her first two books are relationships novels for young adults. Den blomstertid nu kommer is a depiction of four teenage girls' attempts to find themselves in a world where adults shine with their absence. In Och allt blir återfött, the girls have become young women who have taken different paths to try to patch up their lives.
The following three books are part of the series about Lena Borell, criminal inspector for serious crimes in Skövde. It's detective stories that are really just as much relationship novels. The first book is called Våroffer, the second Gryningsdåd and the third Fallet Nathalie. The fourth book in the series Skärsår will be published in autumn 2023.
At the moment, Maria is writing the first book in a brand new detective series that takes place in Gothenburg and will be published in the first quarter of 2024. During her residency stay, she will mainly work on the editing of that book.
